The cash-pay rate for a 50 minute session with me is $210. Don't panic yet. Rather than bill insurance directly, I provide clients with a Superbill, which you submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Reimbursement varies by insurance provider and plan type. For example, a PPO plan may offer 80% reimbursement after meeting an out-of pocket deductible, which would refund you $168 per session, essentially bringing the rate to $42 per session. 50% reimbursement would make it $105 per session. An HMO, EPO, or Medicaid plan is unlikely to offer out-of-network benefits. If pricing is still a concern, please contact me about need-based sliding scale rates. I don't believe cost should be a barrier for anyone who's highly motivated to do the work of therapy.
Let me break it down into steps!1) You fill out the intake form on my Get Started page. (This doesn't lock you into anything; it just lets me know you're interested.)2) Via email, we schedule a time for our first intake session. 3) You log onto Simple Practice, the platform where we'll do our virtual sessions, communicate, and keep our intake paperwork.4) You fill out said intake paperwork.5) We meet for our intake, and I'll verbally explain what to expect. 6) I get to know you as well as I can through a thorough assessment. You can also ask me any questions you may have. We discuss what you've been struggling with and what your goals are for our time together. 7) We meet for regularly scheduled sessions until you meet your goals or feel like stopping for any other reason. 8) If one day, you want to come back, great! My door is always open.
Yes, but not for the same person. I can either see you for individual, couples, OR family therapy. If you're interested in multiple kinds of therapy, we can talk about which one you would like to do with me, and I'll happily refer you to one of the many wonderful therapists in my network for the other kind of therapy.
